Dawsons Game And Trout Lodge

At the foot of Nelshoogte Pass, the colonial-style Dawson's Lodge offers a relaxing retreat with spa facilities and spectacular mountain panoramas. It has an outdoor pool and a spacious garden. Herds of zebras, giraffes and indigenous cattle roam the area, providing Dawson's guests with opportunities for wild animal watching. The perennial streams and waterfalls abound in trout, perfect for fishing. Each room at Dawsons Game Lodge is creatively decorated with rich colors and luxurious materials. All feature fireplaces and tea/coffee facilities. After a calming massage, guests can sample food characteristic of Mpumalanga Province at the lodge’s restaurant or outdoors. A romantic candlelit dinner can also be arranged. Dawson's Game Lodge is located a 3-hour drive from Johannesburg.
