Younger guests can use the children’s playground. Kigamboni ferry is 5 mi, while Dar es Salaam Zoo and Dar es Salaam city center are about 5 mi away. Hotel South Beach has an in house DJ who plays local and international music hits on the weekends and on public holidays from the afternoon until late along with entertainment such as acrobats, dancers and children's entertainment.
