- Located in the Cascais bay next to the fishermen's beach, this charming guest house has easy access to the marginal road or the A5 motorway. The historical hotel enjoys a privileged location for those who want to take advantage of the facilities and attractions of the Estoril Coast and the Sintra Cascais Natural Park. The establishment is approx. 12 km from Sintra, 32 km from the centre of Lisbon and 35 km from Lisbon Airport.
- Acquired some time ago by the present owner, the building changed into the hotel it is today following some interior remodelling. It is a luxury guest house where guests can enjoy the tranquillity of the centre of Cascais. Charming with a very personalised decoration, this beautiful hotel in Cascais overlooks the bay and was constructed under orders from the 3rd Dukes of Palmela, D. Maria Luísa Domingas and D. António, at the end of the 19th century. It was then offered to the famous writer D. Maria Amália Vaz de Carvalho, who went on to live here for many years. The air-conditioned hotel welcomes guests into a lobby with 24-h reception and check-out services, a hotel safe, lift access and hairdressing salon. Guests may also enjoy a drink at the bar, dine in the breakfast and dining room, and make use of the hotel's WLAN Internet access, room and laundry services, car park and bicycle hire service.
